Welcome to the NZ Drones Academy Affiliate Program (“the Program”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the legal agreement between NZ Drones Academy Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and you (“Affiliate”, “you”, or “your”).
By registering for or participating in the Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
To participate in this Program, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age;
- Reside or operate within New Zealand;
- Provide true, accurate, and complete contact and payment details;
- and
Maintain an active account with NZ Drones Academy.
We may accept or reject applications at our sole discretion. Participation is not available where prohibited by law.
As an affiliate, you agree to:

Promote NZ Drones Academy courses and services honestly and lawfully;
- Avoid misleading, deceptive, or false representations under the Fair Trading Act 1986;
- Use only official affiliate links and approved promotional materials;
- Not engage in spam or unsolicited advertising;
- Avoid paid advertising using our trademarks or brand names (“NZ Drones” / “NZ Drones Academy”) without written permission;
and
- Comply with all relevant New Zealand privacy, advertising, and consumer laws.
Affiliates act as independent contractors. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and NZ Drones Academy Ltd.
Affiliates earn a 10 % commission on each valid sale referred through their unique affiliate link.
Commissions are calculated on the final sale price excluding GST, refunds, or chargebacks.
A referred sale is valid when completed within a 30-day cookie tracking period following the customer’s initial click on your link.
Commissions are paid monthly via bank transfer once your balance reaches a minimum payout of NZ $50.
Balances below this amount will roll over to the next month.
Payments will only be made for confirmed sales after any applicable refund period.
You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and for meeting any income-tax or GST obligations under New Zealand law.
Affiliates must not:
- Make false or misleading statements about NZ Drones Academy or its courses;

Use unauthorised coupons, incentives, or price claims;

Purchase courses through their own affiliate links;

Use offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content; or
-
Misuse NZ Drones Academy trademarks, images, or materials.
Breach of these obligations may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
All intellectual-property rights, including logos, images, course materials, and trademarks, remain the property of NZ Drones Academy Ltd.
You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable licence to use approved marketing assets solely for promoting NZ Drones Academy as an affiliate.
Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time by written notice.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to our reputation.
On termination, outstanding commissions above the payout threshold will be paid in the next cycle unless termination resulted from breach or fraud
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, NZ Drones Academy Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in this Program.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 if applicable.
We may update these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect from the date they are published on our website. By continuing to participate in the Program after an update, you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
