60-second course finder
Which drone course do I need?
Four quick questions. We'll tell you the right qualification — including if the answer is "none yet".
What do you want to do with your drone?
Fly for myself Photos, video, a bit of fun. Nobody is paying me. Fly for work or get paid Media, real estate, survey, inspection, agriculture, construction, events. Train a team of pilots I'm an organisation with several operators who need certification. Renew or prove my currency I already hold a certificate and need an assessment, not a course.
Where will you mostly fly?
Towns, cities, coasts or farms Anywhere within 4 km of an aerodrome — airports, airfields, heliports and many farm airstrips. That covers most towns and a lot of farmland. Open country, well away from any aerodrome More than 4 km from any aerodrome and outside controlled airspace — and I've checked on AirShare. Not sure I haven't checked what's nearby.
